Final Projects Portfolio
The end is in sight, but only if I keep my nose to the grindstone. We got the portfolio requirements for graduation on Thursday night and there was a collective "omg I better get crackin" response. I'll attempt to post my progress...if I have time.

Watercolor
Today was the semester's last class of Watercolor Fundamentals with Cindy Baron :(
I am psyched for her Advanced Watercolor class this fall. This is my final piece in her class, it's not finished but I like where it's going.

Cut Paper
While in the process of organizing my work to update my portfolio, I came across these photographs of a piece I did in CB II class. I really enjoyed this project. I will try another cut paper illustration. Soon.
I loved the Karla Kuskin poem, (used here for educational purposes only, not for publication) this is the picture I had in my mind after reading it.

Elephant
12 x 12 Elephant sketch. A new children's bookstore has opened in Lexington Massachusetts called the Elephant's Trunk. A call went out for illustrators to assist in decorating one wall by submitting a 12 x 12 depiction of an elephant. I will do the painting in watercolor, of course :)
